Jawahar is a world class master teacher and a close disciple of Yogacharya BKS Iyengar. He provides students a spotlight into the magic, mystery and genius of the Iyengar Yoga tradition and how this system accesses health and the human potential through ancient practices.

Jawahar studied yoga under Mr. Iyengar's guidance for more than 30 years and accompanied him on many of his workshops around the world. He runs two centres in Mumbai, has travelled the world giving workshops and is a trustee of the Light on Yoga Research Trust.

Eyal is a world-renowned senior Iyengar yoga teacher from Israel known for his innovative and creative use of props. an excellent opportunity for yoga practitioners and teachers of all traditions to study with the author of A Chair for Yoga, Props for Yoga, The Psychophysical Lab and most recently, Extended Chair for Yoga.

Eyal has been practicing since 1978 and teaching Iyengar Yoga since 1985. He directs the Iyengar Yoga Center of Zichron-Ya'akov in Israel and conducts Yoga workshops in Israel and around the world. As one of the most senior teachers in Israel, Eyal is active in the IYAI (Iyengar Yoga Association of Israel). He conducts teacher training courses and for many years took an active part in the assessment of new teachers.

Ty has been studying yoga since the late 80s and brings her years of dedicated practice, precision and devotion to her teaching. Her vibrant, warm personality and generosity along with her focus and discipline bring light to her students and her community. Ty resides in Victoria where she studies, teaches and also serves on the PD and Teacher Training committee at the Iyengar Yoga Centre of Victoria. She is a long time student of Shirley Daventry French and continues her training by making trips to Pune to study with the Iyengars and to France to study with Corine and Faèq Biria. Ty serves on the PD board for the Iyengar Yoga Association of Canada and is a national assessor. Ty holds a Level 3 Iyengar yoga teaching certification.

Sharoni is the founder and co-director of CIY. Beginning her third decade of practice and study, Sharoni took her first workshop with Faeq Biria in 2007, who profoundly inspired her in the subject. Sharoni has a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy. She completed teacher training with Margot Kitchen in 2009 and has also practiced locally with Norman Sjoman. Sharoni continues regular training with Corine and Faeq Biria and Jawahar Bangera. She has taken multiple trips to Pune, India, to study with the Iyengars and is an Assessor-In-Training for the Iyengar Yoga Association of Canada (IYAC) and served a term as Membership Chair. Sharoni brings intensity and heart to her classes and encourages dedication and insight. She holds a Level 3 Iyengar yoga teaching certification.
